Can you deposit money into a PC money account?
Can't deposit cash (or cheques) with an ATM. If you like to deposit cash or cheques directly into your PC Money Account, you'll be hit with an unpleasant surprise. At the time, deposits can only be made electronically, either as a bill payment, Interac e-Transfer, or by linking the bank directly to your account.

Unlike a typical Mastercard® credit card, the PC Money™ Account directly withdraws your own funds to make a transaction, instead of drawing from a portion of your available credit due to be paid back to the bank.
Bank-to-Bank Transfers to your PC Money™ Account are subject to a hold period of up to eight business days. A $2,000 limit also applies on this transaction type for each calendar month. Transfers between, to and from your PC Money™ Account(s) and/or your PC Financial Mastercard.
- Sign into your PC Financial® mobile app or online account.

Funds are deposited into your account on the Tuesday and a five-business-day hold is applied. The hold will be released the following Tuesday in the evening calculated as follows: Wednesday = 1 day, Thursday = 2 days, Friday = 3 days, Monday = 4 days, Tuesday = 5 days.
The PC Money™ Account is an account that works like debit, and rewards you every time you use it to make a purchase. Accepted everywhere Mastercard® is, this no monthly fee account gives you unlimited everyday transactions and rewards you with 10 PC Optimum points on every $1 you spend on purchases.
It's important to note that the Mastercard prepaid card that comes with the PC Money Account is not a credit card. The money you spend when you use your prepaid card will come from funds you've already deposited into your account.
Unlike its former banking service, which was provided by CIBC, PC Money Accounts are issued directly by President's Choice Bank. The PC Money Account card can be used to collect PC Optimum points on purchases, and can be used online and worldwide at any retailer that accepts Mastercard.
As a PC Financial Mastercard credit card customer, you may be able to use your card to take out a cash advance at bank machines that accept Mastercard, write convenience cheques, or complete a money transfer. The cash limit refers to the maximum that you're able to withdraw for these purposes.
Can I withdraw cash from PC money account?
You can withdraw cash from your PC Money™ Account without incurring fees through one of our many PC Financial ATMs. You can also withdraw cash from a 3rd party ATM, subject to a fee (see fee schedule).
Up to $10,000, however, your transfers can be sent in more than one batch as long as no individual transaction is greater than $10,000.
Just head to the closest PC Financial bank machine, located in many Shoppers Drug Mart® and Loblaw banner grocery stores for free withdrawals from your account.
PC Financial's banking services are provided by CIBC and mobile cheque deposits work the same way across both banks' apps.

Payroll or pension deposits totaling between $1,500 and $2,999 within a calendar month will earn a bonus of 2,000 PC Optimum™ points, and deposits totaling greater than $2,999 will earn an additional 3,000 PC Optimum™ points, for a maximum monthly bonus of 5,000 PC Optimum™ points.
The PC Financial Money Account is a type of bank account used for paying bills and making purchases, both online and in-person. It comes with a PC-branded Mastercard that's more of a debit credit card than full fledged credit card and can only be used where Mastercards are accepted.
When you receive your refund will depend on when the merchant's payment system submits the refund for processing. Most refunds typically take 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to appear in your account once the merchant has issued the refund.
Possibly the most unique feature of this card is its early payroll deposit feature, which states you can get your entire paycheque up to two days early (assuming you've enabled payroll deposits).

You can pay your internet, phone, utilities, and credit card bill – like your PC® Mastercard® – from your PC Money™ Account to earn up to 5,000 points every month.

- Ages 16+: You'll need to be a minimum of 16 years old at the time of your application.
