Bills, bills, bills. One of life’s necessities. Now you can get rewarded for paying them! That’s right, no typos here. Pay your bills online with your PC Money™ Account and you could be earning up to 5,000 bonus PC Optimum™ points¹ every month for the everyday banking you have to do anyway. We’ll show you how.

Step 1: Fund your PC Money™ Account.

Make sure your account is funded to start earning points when you pay your bills online. One way to fund your account is to set up payroll or pension direct deposit. Bonus: you could earn an extra 5,000 bonus points² every month just for getting paid (opens in a new window)External link.

Step 2: Pay your bills online.

You must pay those bills, so why not get rewarded for paying them? You can pay your internet, phone, utilities, and credit card bill – like your PC® Mastercard® – from your PC Money™ Account to earn up to 5,000 points every month. Want a quick run through of how you can make a bill payment from your PC Money™ Account? See how Rohan⁴ does it.

Rohan has activated and funded his PC Money™ Account and he’s ready to pay his phone bill for the first time. Rohan logs into his online banking and clicks ‘Move Money’ followed by ‘Pay bills.’ He clicks ‘Add a new payee,’ then selects the ‘Mobile/Cable’ category to pay his phone bill. Rohan adds his mobile provider to enter the payee details. Once the payee is added, he can pay his bill and pile up the points!

Set up recurring bill payments to help you avoid late fees and put your bill payments (and points earning) on autopilot. Here’s how:
1.Log in to your PC Financial® app or online account, then click ‘Move Money.’
2.Click ‘Pay bills’ and then ‘Add a payee’ or select the payee you wish to pay.
3.Select the amount, date, and frequency of the payments. (If your frequency is more than “Just Once,” select a specific date and confirm the details.)

Step 3: Earn PC Optimum™ points.

Remember Rohan? He doesn’t have to stop at his phone bill—he can make up to five bill payments of $50 or more with his PC Money™ Account to earn up to 5,000 PC Optimum™ points every month¹. In only a year, Rohan earned a total of 60,000 PC Optimum™ points just for paying his bills. That's points he can redeem³ toward free stuff at participating stores! Don’t miss out on paying your bills with your PC Money™ Account to earn points you can redeem toward free stuff too.

With no monthly fee, no minimum balance required, unlimited everyday transactions⁵, and earning points for your everyday spending and banking, making the PC Money™ Account your favourite bank account just makes sense. The proof is in the points.
