X-Men #65-66

Just to cover both bases as to whether you want a 1st cameo appearance of 1st full, you can probably score both in cheap boxes if you are looking for Cecilia Reyes.

Soon to be a main member of the new X-Factor title, Cecilia goes all the way back to the days of Bastion in the 90s.

As you can see in issue #65 its a one page appearance and she is referred to by name but no hint of the powers she possesses. For those you want issue #66 which also features her on the cover. Both comics are only a couple bucks so just cover your bases with both if you want a cheap 1st app to dig for some scavenger hunt fun.

Hawkeye: Blindspot #1-4

I would say just get the whole mini series for the price. You can most likely find all 4 issues in those bins.

With a tease of a Season 2 for Hawkeye on Disney +, there are also new rumors that we will see Barney Barton, better known as Trickshot appearing in it. We heard those rumors the 1st time out, so we shouldn’t be surprised its back again.

While Barney’s 1st app in Avengers #64 is not a dollar book, you can prob find his app as Trickshot for cheap. Teased at the end of issues #1 and #2 he does appear in costume in both for a few panels. However its not until the reveal in issue #3 that we know completely who he is and his new villainous persona.

Justice League Unlimited #18

Reading this last issue of Action Comics, may have been mostly uneventful. But we did see the appearance of a classic character in Space Cabbie.

Space Cabbie actually goes waaay back appearing in Mystery in Space #21 in 1954, So finding his 1st for cheap is out.

However I always think of him as he appeared in DC animated stuff like Justice League Unlimited and you can find some of these kids comics in those discount boxes. So for fun you can grab yourself a Space Cabby cover on this book for a couple bucks.

Who knows, if James Gunn decides to use an obscure character like this. But you know if he does, everyone will want any piece they can find of our beloved Space Cabbie. haha

Planetary Preview

Ok so I wasn’t aware that DC had brought the Planetary characters over from the Wildstorm universe to the DCU proper. In the recent issue of Outsiders I noticed Elijah Snow right there on the cover and had to see what was going on as I was a fan of Warren Ellis’ original Planetary comic.

With that said, most folks grab Planetary #1 thinking that is their 1st, but they actually showed up months before in 2 preview flipbooks. That’s right the Preview comic was on the back of 2 other Wildstorm Titles in 1998.

Those 2 issues were Gen 13 #33 and Jim Lee’s C-23 #6. Both are still pretty cheap and when you are digging you may see either of the covers below or they may be flipped over so you see the Planetary Preview, so keep an eye out for all three.
