Renowned actor Dave Coulier, best known for his role as Uncle Joey in the beloved sitcom Full House, has recently been diagnosed with tongue cancer. This news comes as a surprise, considering Coulier's previous announcement of being cancer-free just seven months ago after a stage three non-Hodgkin Lymphoma diagnosis. In an interview with NBC's Today show, Coulier revealed that his new cancer is unrelated to the previous one. He shared that he is currently undergoing 35 rounds of radiation therapy, which will conclude on December 31st, and is optimistic about his prognosis, as the cancer has a 90% curability rate. Coulier's journey with cancer began in November 2024 when he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, and he quickly embarked on chemotherapy. He expressed his gratitude for early detection, stating that it saved his life twice. Now, he encourages everyone to prioritize regular health check-ups, including colonoscopies, breast exams, and prostate exams, as these can potentially save lives. Despite the challenges, Coulier remains positive, emphasizing the importance of staying proactive in one's health.
